 Meet the Candidates

Summit TEA Party

2:00pm to 4:00pm

4:00pm to 6:00pm

640 WHLO's Jim Albright will interview Local, State and Federal candidates
in a live broadcast.

Candidates will then be available to answer your questions, and listen to your ideas on how to set our country back on the right track.

Join with us in one of the largest TEA Parties to be held in Ohio this year!

Together we will examine today's biggest governmental issues, celebrate this wonderful country and rally for a better future!

People from all across this great land are gathering to hear the message of our nation's founding principals.  Hundreds of thousands have gathered to speak out against an out of control government that is ripping apart the very fabric of their country.  Your chance is coming to Stand Up with them!  Join with us, as average folks, just like you, meet to together to learn, network, protest and celebrate!

Each speaker at the Summit TEA Party feels passionately about their cause and is there to help you understand the issues of today.  They will stand before you as fellow citizens to share the truth about these issues and show you how to get involved.  Topics being discussed include over taxation, nationalized health care, cap and trade, and your rights.

While some of these topics seem lofty and complex, they will be presented in a simple format of short addresses along with messages of hope and patriotism.  This will enlighten and inspire, make you laugh and maybe even shed a prideful tear.

This will be a family event!  A gathering of people of all ages, from all walks of life, all political affiliations with a common understanding; we are all Americans, and it is "We the People" who hold the keys to it's bright and fruitful future.

  Help Your Community:
Please bring a canned or nonperishable food item to our event.  Collection centers will be located at all entrances.  Help us meet our goal of collectiing 10,000 items for Summit County residence in need.

What does the "9/12" stand for in our organizations name?  The 9 Principals and 12 Values we as an organization believe in.  Ask yourself if you believe in at least 7 of these principles and 10 of these values.  If so, you will fined we have more in common that you can imagine!

9 Principles:   12 Values
  • I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life.
  • I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.
  • The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.
  • If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.
  • I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.
  • I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.
  • It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.
  • The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.
  • Honesty
  • Reverance
  • Hope
  • Thrift
  • Humility
  • Charity
  • Sincerity
  • Moderation
  • Hard Work
  • Courage
  • Personal Responsibility
  • Gratitude
